About the role
- Define Citrix Desktop Virtualization, Virtual Workspace, and Application Delivery strategy and roadmap
- Design, implement and support enterprise-level Citrix environments
- Install, configure, and maintain Citrix servers and related systems
- Lead NetScaler implementations and configuration for networking, load balancing, and performance optimization
- Develop, document, and enforce standards and controls for Citrix environment integrity
- Provide advanced technical consulting for solution design
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems with Citrix systems
- Serve as third level escalation for application support and troubleshooting
- Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies
- Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for Citrix-related systems
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in information technology
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or natural sciences preferred
- Citrix certifications preferred
- Experience in deploying and managing large Citrix environments with over 2000 concurrent users
- Experience as Citrix Virtualization engineer/administration
- Team player with proven leadership skills
- Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance, or productivity
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and judgment skills
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience with Citrix technologies including CVAD, Citrix NetScaler, Web Interface/StoreFront, Citrix Provisioning and Machine Creation Services, App-V Integration, Citrix AppLayering, Citrix Workspace Environment Manager
- Ability to translate complex technical information into understandable business language
