About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage execution of Manufacturing Development programs and initiatives across assigned facilities
  • Support onboarding, skill progression, certification readiness, and workforce flexibility development
  • Ensure consistent application of training standards, certification processes, and TWI methodology
  • Provide leadership and coaching to Training Coaches, Supervisors, and training teams
  • Monitor training effectiveness and workforce readiness KPIs and identify improvement opportunities
  • Maintain training records, certification documentation, and compliance-related training
  • Partner with HR and plant leadership on workforce planning and hiring decisions
  • Support grant opportunities and external workforce development partnerships
  • Directly lead Training Coaches and regional training teams across assigned facilities
  • Influence training effectiveness, certification readiness, safety, quality, and workforce flexibility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4-6 years of experience in manufacturing, workforce development, training, operations, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years leadership experience
  • Experience in manufacturing training and workforce development preferred
  • Lean, TWI, standardized work, or CI experience preferred
  • Experience with LMS or digital training platforms preferred
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Must meet the qualifications noted in the company’s Driver Management Program if travel/driving is required
  • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds
