About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and maintain commercial copy for the e-commerce site (homepage, banners, landing pages, campaigns, emails, and promotional content).
  • Develop complete, clear, conversion-oriented product descriptions that highlight benefits, differentiators, and specifications.
  • Adapt language for different audiences and product categories.
  • Ensure consistency of tone of voice and brand identity across all copy.
  • Apply best practices in copywriting and SEO for e-commerce.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with strategy.
  • Review and optimize existing copy with a focus on performance (CTR, conversion, clarity).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Excellent command of the Portuguese language and persuasive writing (note: role requires writing in Portuguese).
  • Ability to turn technical information into clear, engaging copy.
  • Understanding of SEO for e-commerce.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Portfolio with examples of commercial copy and product descriptions.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with D2C brands or marketplaces.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization.
  • Knowledge of storytelling applied to product marketing.
