About the role
- Select flours according to their quality;
- Prepare bread dough daily;
- Set and adjust production equipment: oven, dough mixer, etc.;
- Shape dough pieces according to the desired end product: baguette, loaf, etc.;
- Bake bread;
- Produce viennoiserie: pains au chocolat, croissants, raisin rolls, etc.;
- Prepare and bake pizzas on an occasional basis as needed;
- Arrange finished products in the display case or on the shelves;
- Manage inventory and stocks;
- Plan production in anticipation of demand;
- Comply with regulations and hygiene rules (temperatures, etc.);
- Advise sales staff on appropriate packaging and methods of preservation;
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery/lab and work station;
- Inform management of any anomalies detected during the course of duties.
Requirements
- Vocational qualification: CAP / BEP / BP / Brevet de maîtrise or equivalent
