About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows systems for optimal performance and reliability
  • Use Tenable and Splunk to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats
  • Apply SCAP and STIG methodologies to maintain systems compliant with Department of Defense standards
  • Ensure compliance with NIST Special Publications, NISPOM, and the Risk Management Framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, patch management, and incident response
  • Travel up to 15% to support remote sites, attend training, and participate in project deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum 13 years of prior related experience
  • Maintain DOD 8140 certification, such as Security+
  • Strong technical skills and attention to regulatory standards
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as needed
  • Preferred: experience with VMware virtualization technologies
  • Preferred: familiarity with Citrix Virtual Desktops
  • Preferred: proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting
  • Preferred: knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution
