About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows systems for optimal performance and reliability
Use Tenable and Splunk to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats
Apply SCAP and STIG methodologies to maintain systems compliant with Department of Defense standards
Ensure compliance with NIST Special Publications, NISPOM, and the Risk Management Framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, patch management, and incident response
Travel up to 15% to support remote sites, attend training, and participate in project deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Secret Security Clearance required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum 13 years of prior related experience
Maintain DOD 8140 certification, such as Security+
Strong technical skills and attention to regulatory standards
Ability to travel up to 15% as needed
Preferred: experience with VMware virtualization technologies
Preferred: familiarity with Citrix Virtual Desktops
Preferred: proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting
Preferred: knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution
