About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, support, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Installation of monitoring agents, STIGing, and Hardening AWS AMIs.
- Monitor system performance and resource usage, identify potential problems, and implement solutions to maintain system resilience and security.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Clearance: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly)
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security, Security+ CE, or higher certification
- Experience working with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks.
- Experience utilizing virtualization technologies and backup solutions.
- Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
