About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Program Planner supporting a large, long-term program
- Manage development and maintenance of complex program schedules
- Perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects
- Ensure major projects and program schedules are integrated across company functional groups
- Perform Schedule Risk Analysis and integrate subcontractor effort
- Utilize project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances
- Ensure compliance with internal program procedures
- Lead and participate in scheduling status reviews
- Mentor program teams and CAMs in schedule best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 9 years planning experience or 7 years minimum related experience with graduate degree
- Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS
- Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g. DCMA 14-point check)
- Familiarity with DOD contracts and requirements
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with external EVMS reporting and related requirements
