About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Customer support through on-site equipment operation, maintenance and installation
  • Overseeing diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment
  • Instructing customers and fellow employees in system operation and maintenance
  • Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative, programmatic and technical issues
  • Supports on-site and remote customer meetings
  • Communicate and collaborate with government customer organization
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines for project coordination
  • Generate or update drawings, parts lists, wiring lists, diagrams, and schematics
  • Creation and presentation of design review materials
  • Verification of system interfaces
  • Must have the ability to travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience
  • Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience supporting DOD/government contracts for engineering or engineering services
  • Experience with operating video display/recording systems, encryption systems, voice/data communications systems, and networking systems
  • Direct experience with Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Data Recording systems, and/or Radar
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
