About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support for FAA programs/systems
  • Install, repair, configure, test, and complete preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Work remotely in a scheduled and on-call capacity
  • Travel to remote sites as needed
  • Read/understand/follow equipment drawings and task orders
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and inventory
  • Work with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve issues in the field
  • Lift items up to 32 lbs and use ladders to reach heights of approximately 10 ft

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Network+
  • CCNA
  • CCNP
  • CCNA Wireless
  • A+
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in high stress and visibility environment
  • Good working knowledge of cable connectors and replacement
  • Excellent working knowledge of fiber and various network technologies
  • Familiar with configuration and operation of 24VDC & 48 VDC power supplies
  • Experience with network and circuit testing
