About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support for FAA programs/systems
- Install, repair, configure, test, and complete preventative maintenance on equipment
- Work remotely in a scheduled and on-call capacity
- Travel to remote sites as needed
- Read/understand/follow equipment drawings and task orders
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and inventory
- Work with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve issues in the field
- Lift items up to 32 lbs and use ladders to reach heights of approximately 10 ft
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Network+
- CCNA
- CCNP
- CCNA Wireless
- A+
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in high stress and visibility environment
- Good working knowledge of cable connectors and replacement
- Excellent working knowledge of fiber and various network technologies
- Familiar with configuration and operation of 24VDC & 48 VDC power supplies
- Experience with network and circuit testing
