Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute subcontract strategies to align with program and organizational objectives
Lead negotiations to establish subcontract agreements with favorable terms and conditions
Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance using defined metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, finance, and program management
Identify potential risks associated with subcontracting activities and develop mitigation strategies
25% Travel to supplier site locations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience
Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related subcontracts experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related subcontracts experience
Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes
Experience interpreting program management, engineering and supplier demands in a continuously changing environment with minimal guidance
Working capability in the use of typical office computer programs for conduct of program management such as MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word
Experience in supporting supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance.
