About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide Network Engineering and Teleconferencing Support in an accredited classified computing environment supporting multiple Department of Defense (DOD) programs and support a classified accredited eWAN.
  • Support build and maintain an Authorization to Operate with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN communications, network hardware such as Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, firewalls, load balancing / NetScaler and encryption devices (i.e., TACLANEs).
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding and practical experience with technologies such as MPLS, VPLS, VPNs, and traffic engineering.
  • Document and communicate well, train junior staff members, and build strong relationships.
  • Travel up to 30%.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Active US Secret Security clearance
  • Security+, CCNA and/or relevant industry certifications
  • Network cabling eWAN experience
  • SCAP/STIG Experience
  • Windows Domain Experience
  • Linux familiarity
  • Virtualization experience
  • Data Center experience
  • Multi-Factor Authentication support and integration experience.
