Key responsibilities & impact

Support a highly motivated engineering team in defining and designing security solutions
Implement, document, test and sustain security solutions on National Security Systems
Ensure systems meet security compliance standards and identify potential vulnerabilities
Contribute to the design and implementation of security features within product offerings
Evaluate the security posture of information systems and recommend enhancements
Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Oversee cybersecurity operations and align them with business objectives
Configure networks to enforce security policies and protect against unauthorized access
Secure applications against a wide range of cyber threats
Apply NIST Risk Management Framework guidelines to manage risks and ensure system resilience
Communicate and address IT security risks with stakeholders
Drive security architecture improvements and evaluate/upgrading security architectures
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security considerations into business processes
Automate security checks in the CI/CD pipeline under DevSecOps practices
Employ strategies and tools for cyber threat mitigation
Foster a Security-Centric Culture within the organization
Support the development and maintenance of IT architecture framework

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Must have active Secret security clearance
DoD 8140.03 IAT Level 2 certification
Perform Model Based System Engineering (UML, SysML, UAF)
Configure/operate vulnerability analysis tools such Tenable NESSUS Security products
