About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide hands-on technical support during flight test events
- Assist engineering teams with product design, development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Support developmental flight testing of autonomous unmanned aircraft
- Perform system assembly, inspection, setup/configuration, and preflight checkouts
- Set up, configure, operate, and troubleshoot ground control stations and test support equipment
- Provide first-level customer support for end-users
- Train end-users in maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of UAS
- Prepare, configure, test, and ship equipment for test events
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and test personnel
- Collaborate with engineering teams for critical feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
- 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- Active US secret security clearance
- Military experience preferred
- Experience with UAS operations, aviation fundamentals, mission planning, and test range operations
- 2+ years’ experience in a field service of aircraft or UAS operations or maintenance
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer networking knowledge
- Ability to understand schematic diagrams
