Manager, Field Service Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cUAS systems.
- Conduct system testing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Deliver comprehensive training to end-users and operators on the proper use and maintenance of cUAS equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical issues and facilitate continuous improvement of cUAS systems.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cUAS technology and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, security, and operational protocols.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cUAS technologies or similar defense/security systems.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to travel extensively, including potential deployment to remote or hostile environments.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Familiarity with military standards and technical documentation.
- Ability to assist in the development of test cases to properly validate software features
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years prior related experience or 2-year post-Secondary/Associate’s degree with 6 years of prior related experience as well as previous leadership background.
- Holder of a Department of Defense Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) required
- Experience with related technologies such as radar systems, electronic warfare, or surveillance systems.
- Two (2) or more years of experience troubleshooting technical and/or software products required
- Appropriate technology industry certifications such as CompTIA’s A+/Network+/Security+/Server+, Cisco CCNA/CCDA, Microsoft MTA/MCSA, etc. strongly preferred
