About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development of technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, implementation instructions, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Lead small teams to complete tasks on-time and on-budget.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work under general supervision to set objectives.
  • Assist in engineering system development tasks including system requirements analysis, system architecture and design, preliminary design, critical design, system integration, formal verification, formal validation, and fielding support.
  • Lead in the performance of requirements analysis using DOORS, UML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML), and other system engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the completion of milestones and subsequent gate reviews.
  • Assist in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for total systems.
  • Maintain standards compliance.
  • Travel up to 10% for off-site testing.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline (Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics)
  • minimum 4 years of prior related experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • Experience with all aspects of SEIT and product development best practices and their applications given program needs
  • Experience in integrated product teams
  • Strong verbal and written technical communication skills
  • Familiarity with the military/defense contracting environment
  • Proficiency in DOORS
  • AGILE development experience
  • Integration and Test experience utilizing oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems
  • IGBT, MOSFET, or power conversion experience
  • Experience with power supplies greater than 10,000 W
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)
