About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows servers, client systems, backup systems, network infrastructure, and databases.
Provide end user desktop support for systems and applications at the local site and across the classified WAN.
Build, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows servers in support of program requirements.
Perform regular system updates, patching, and hardening activities to reduce vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand program requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Communicate complex technical issues, risks, and recommendations clearly to management and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
6 years of experience as a System/Network Administrator supporting an enterprise-level domain environment
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices
Experience supporting Linux systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
Experience with Commvault or similar enterprise level backup system
Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms
Experience with Ansible
Experience managing systems in compliance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
