About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain reliability and safety models for various systems, including FMECAs, reliability predictions, subsystem hazard analyses, and range safety assessments
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve product reliability and safety
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and program stakeholders to integrate reliability principles into design processes
  • Design and implement reliability test plans for new products and processes
  • Analyze test anomalies and ensure adherence to quality standards through application of reliability engineering techniques
  • Drive program compliance with Reliability and System Safety procedures and standard work requirements
  • Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments and lead fault tree analyses related to product anomalies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline is strongly preferred
  • Technical experience, preferably in aerospace or defense sectors, including reliability analysis, development of FEMCAs and PFMECAs and the application of MIL-STD-882E
  • Formal coursework in Reliability Engineering
  • Knowledge of solid rocket motor systems is desired.
