About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee general ledger accounting activities.
Apply principles of accounting to review and analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
Support monthly financial close and analysis functions.
Participate in Management’s monthly review of financial statements.
Evaluate and implement improvements in processes and systems.
Communicate within and outside the organization.
Investigate accounting discrepancies and/or problems.
Support audit activities and requests from external, internal and DCAA auditors.
Provide leadership and direction to experienced professionals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree
minimum 9 years of prior relevant accounting experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related accounting experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior Accounting experience required.
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot table and lookup functionality.
Experience with Oracle ERP system.
MBA or CPA.
