About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Customer support through the performance of on-site equipment operation, maintenance and installation
Overseeing necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment
Instructing customers and fellow employees in system operation and maintenance
Checking out, reporting on and approving operational quality of system equipment
Serving as company liaison with customer on administrative, programmatic and technical matters
Supporting on-site and remote customer meetings
Communicating and collaborating with government customer organization to resolve issues
Interfacing with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordination of project systems
Generating and updating drawings, engineering orders, and schematics
Creation and presentation of design review materials

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Active US Secret Security Clearance
Previous work supporting DOD/government contracts for engineering or engineering services
Experience with operating video display/recording systems, encryption systems, voice/data communications systems, and networking systems
Direct experience with Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Data Recording systems, and/or Radar
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
