About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Customer support through the performance of on-site equipment operation, maintenance and installation
  • Overseeing necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment
  • Instructing customers and fellow employees in system operation and maintenance
  • Checking out, reporting on and approving operational quality of system equipment
  • Serving as company liaison with customer on administrative, programmatic and technical matters
  • Supporting on-site and remote customer meetings
  • Communicating and collaborating with government customer organization to resolve issues
  • Interfacing with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordination of project systems
  • Generating and updating drawings, engineering orders, and schematics
  • Creation and presentation of design review materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance
  • Previous work supporting DOD/government contracts for engineering or engineering services
  • Experience with operating video display/recording systems, encryption systems, voice/data communications systems, and networking systems
  • Direct experience with Underwater Acoustics, Telemetry, Communications, Data Recording systems, and/or Radar
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
