About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for Overall Program Performance Including: Customer Satisfaction, Financial Performance, Schedule Performance, and Quality
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to develop and execute strategic plans that ensure supplier performance and alignment with program and financial objectives
- Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements across all program lifecycle phases
- Identify program risks and opportunities and assesses operational impacts
- Lead program change management and maintains the cost, schedule, and performance measurement baseline
- Develop, review, and approve program plans, schedules, subcontract agreements, and related documentation
- Coordinate and monitor supplier activities, deliverables, and finances to ensure alignment with business financial goals
- Ensure adequate engineering, manpower, production, and facility resources to support program execution
- Provide clear, consistent communication of program status, changes, and performance to customers and L3Harris leadership
- Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and technical reviews to customers and leadership
- Lead development of program proposals, including scope definition, budgeting, expenditure planning, and contract financial terms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Experience managing technology development programs with annual revenues of $50M+
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams of approximately 25+ personnel
- Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers in performance-based environments
- Experience managing capital asset development
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Experience with space-based hardware development or infrared remote sensing
- Strong customer relationships with NASA, NOAA, or DoD
