About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the product/program full life cycle including advanced R&D, capture, proposals, design, integration & test, verification, and sustainment.
Lead an interdisciplinary team as a Product Owner, CAM, IPTL in space mission engineering, including mission design, analysis, and operations.
Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to develop and manage system models using Cameo Systems Modeler.
Design and implement software systems to support space mission engineering.
Decompose high-level requirements into detailed, actionable specifications.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Develop and maintain documentation, including system architecture diagrams, interface control documents, and test plans.
Support the verification and validation of system requirements through rigorous testing and analysis.
Train operators on system usage and provide support for customer testing.
Debug user-facing GUIs using representative operational data.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Security+ certification
Minimum 5 years in Cameo Systems Modeler or similar MBSE tools
Experience with PowerShell scripting and Familiarity with markup languages
Professional experience with microservice architecture and its application in software systems
Product Owner, CAM, or IPTL experience
Experience decomposing complex requirements into detailed specifications
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Experience with Linux and Windows Systems
Experience with Test Procedure/Use Case Verification
Experience automating software GUIs
Experience with Eggplant or other automation tools
