About the role
- Provide Network Support services for a Department of Defense (DoD) Senior Leader Network
- Optimize system performance with quick and independent decision making skills
- Manage WAN router, switch, and other networking configurations
- Assist in subscriber frequency planning based on approved Discovery Frequency of Day
- Monitor RF Connections and links and update or independently advise when appropriate
- Manage SATCOM RF resources by monitoring frequencies, power control, and hand-offs
- Perform post-mission analysis to assess performance against requirements
- Operate computer network equipment to ensure network systems are available 24/7
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 3 years of prior networking troubleshooting experience
- Must have a Top Secret clearance with eligibility to SCI
- Sec+ required
