About the role

  • Develop and apply advanced image and signal processing techniques for airborne collection platforms
  • Contribute to algorithm design, development, and implementation in a collaborative team environment
  • Develop code using Python or MATLAB
  • Perform atmospheric modeling and analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
  • Willingness to travel 25% of each month on average
  • Ability to pass an FAA Class 3 flight physical
  • Ability to deploy to remote sites for extended periods with a flexible schedule
  • Experience with digital image reduction, analysis, and signal processing techniques (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles (preferred)
  • Experience with Windows OS (preferred)
  • Familiarity with atmospheric modeling and analysis (preferred)
  • Experience with object detection and tracking (preferred)
  • Understanding of ballistic missile characteristics and trajectory analysis (preferred)
  • Experience with mission planning (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (preferred)
