About the role
- The WBWO Analyst utilizes tools for oversight and monitoring tasks
- Provides Wideband support as it relates to the duties of the Consolidated-Satellite Systems Expert (C-SSE)
- Monitors and maintains situational awareness of Wideband MILSATCOM’s space-based assets and ground control infrastructure status
- Reviews proposed satellite command plans and provides troubleshooting assistance
- Maintains current knowledge of all Transmission Controller Operating Instructions
- Engages with the WSOCs to perform adjustments necessary to achieve established operating parameters
- Assists any WSOC in identifying, troubleshooting, and eliminating anomalous transmission and payload conditions
- Completes and submits DORs and AARs in accordance with applicable guidance
- Coordinates enterprise terminal ASIs and emergency outages with appropriate agencies
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Wideband MILSATCOM (WGS and/or DSCS) experience working as a planner, manager, and/or controller
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, CND)
- Strong enterprise network troubleshooting skills (Cisco IOS, IP routing, EIGRP)
- Ability to plan, implement, verify, and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks
- Experience in the use of Information Technology (IT) tools
- Strong skill set with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience implementing patches, scanning, remediating findings, and auditing; working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment and support critical operations during standard and non-standard working hours
