About the role
- Perform reliability and safety analyses across a diverse product portfolio.
- Develop and maintain reliability and safety models for various systems, including FMECAs, reliability predictions, subsystem hazard analyses, and range safety assessments.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve product reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and program stakeholders to integrate reliability principles into design processes.
- Design and implement reliability test plans for new products and processes.
- Analyze test anomalies and ensure adherence to quality standards through application of reliability engineering techniques.
- Drive program compliance with Reliability and System Safety procedures and standard work requirements.
- Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments and lead fault tree analyses related to product anomalies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior Reliability System Safety experience
- Active US Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Technical experience, preferably in aerospace or defense sectors, including reliability analysis, development of FEMCAs and PFMECAs and the application of MIL-STD-882E.
- Formal coursework in Reliability Engineering.
- Knowledge of solid rocket motor systems is desired.
