Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to support the Missile Solutions segment
Leading staff in both internal and external communications
Ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment across all platforms and stakeholders
Creating internal and external communications products including press releases and executive memos
Developing and leading the implementation of communications strategies for the organization
Developing and maintaining strong media relationships with key outlets
Advising and counseling senior leaders on best communication practices
Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of communications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience
Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
Experience with digital communications tools
Experience in writing for executives, storytelling, and drafting news releases
Experience developing PowerPoint briefings
Experience analyzing and reporting metrics
Ability to develop and implement communications strategies
Knowledge of AP Style
Experience in working with journalists, providing media training to principals
Experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interface with all levels of personnel, both within the Communications Department and throughout the company.
