About the role
- Responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to support the Missile Solutions segment
- Leading staff in both internal and external communications
- Ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment across all platforms and stakeholders
- Creating internal and external communications products including press releases and executive memos
- Developing and leading the implementation of communications strategies for the organization
- Developing and maintaining strong media relationships with key outlets
- Advising and counseling senior leaders on best communication practices
- Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of communications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Experience with digital communications tools
- Experience in writing for executives, storytelling, and drafting news releases
- Experience developing PowerPoint briefings
- Experience analyzing and reporting metrics
- Ability to develop and implement communications strategies
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Experience in working with journalists, providing media training to principals
- Experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interface with all levels of personnel, both within the Communications Department and throughout the company.
