About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Security Systems Engineering efforts on IRAD initiatives by developing network security architecture, selecting new technologies, and conducting research on advanced security topics.
- Develop, maintain, and publish technical documentation and white papers in alignment with L3Harris Systems Engineering standards.
- Ability to obtain a FAA Public Trust Clearance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of directly related experience will be considered.
- 4 years of hands-on experience in Network and Platform Security.
- 1 year of hands-on experience in Cloud Security (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles.
- Solid understanding of Zero Trust principles with some hands-on implementation experience.
- Extensive experience in cloud environments is strongly preferred.
- In-depth experience with networking technologies.
- Experience configuring and supporting enterprise networks and associated devices.
- Familiarity with applying NIST and FISMA controls tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or related credentials.
