Lead, Field Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide on-site support for the installation, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of c-UAS systems.
- Conduct system testing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Deliver comprehensive training to end-users and operators on the proper use and maintenance of c-UAS equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical issues and facilitate continuous improvement of cUAS systems.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in c-UAS technology and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, security, and operational protocols.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Secret clearance or higher required
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with c-UAS technologies or similar defense/security systems
- Ability to travel 30%, including potential deployment to remote or hostile environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Holder of a Department of Defense Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one) required
- Experience with related technologies such as radar systems, electronic warfare, or surveillance systems.
- Appropriate technology industry certifications such as CompTIA’s A+/Network+/Security+/Server+, Cisco CCNA/CCDA, Microsoft MTA/MCSA, etc. strongly preferred
