About the role
- Visit suppliers to review product & process issues
- Interface with internal and external customers to ensure requirements are met
- Analyze supplier processes and verify compliance with orders, drawings, etc.
- Review and approval of supplier FAIs IAW AS9102
- Conduct investigation and root cause analysis for suppliers
- Manage supplier performance and ensure 100% quality rating
- Actively contribute in Early Supplier Engagements and Control Plan activity
- Resolve issues with purchase order inspection packages
- Report supplier quality history as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Quality experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Quality experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related Quality experience
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management System Standard and AS9102
- Experience in manufacturing and/or inspections required
- Strong problem solving, RCCA and investigation experience required
- Certified Quality Engineer strongly preferred
- 2+ years’ experience with actuators and valves
