About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to lifecycle of embedded real-time systems by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and updating developmental and fielded systems
- Maintain and review requirements, design documentation and source code
- Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team
- Contribute to the development of technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Proficient with object oriented C++
- Experience in embedded systems design
- Experience troubleshooting on embedded targets
- Working knowledge of signal processing, control systems, networking
- Knowledge of protocols such as IP, UDP, TCP
- Experience with drivers/hardware interfaces such as PCIe, 1553, RS232, SPI, I2C, FPGAs
