About the role

  • Contribute to lifecycle of embedded real-time systems by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and updating developmental and fielded systems
  • Maintain and review requirements, design documentation and source code
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team
  • Contribute to the development of technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Proficient with object oriented C++
  • Experience in embedded systems design
  • Experience troubleshooting on embedded targets
  • Working knowledge of signal processing, control systems, networking
  • Knowledge of protocols such as IP, UDP, TCP
  • Experience with drivers/hardware interfaces such as PCIe, 1553, RS232, SPI, I2C, FPGAs
