About the role
- Perform structural and thermal static and dynamic analyses
- Support structural dynamics and thermal testing activities
- Analyze dynamic response data from launch vehicle missions
- Correlate analysis models and test results
- Prepare technical reports documenting all analysis activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of prior relevant Mechanical Engineering experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Experience with thermal insulation, thermal protection, and metallic structures
- Familiarity with classical sizing methods and practices
- Ability to manage own time within program plan requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the aerospace industry or related discipline
