About the role

  • Support manufacturing engineering in the troubleshooting of complex operations involved in the manufacture of insulation components, insulated rocket motor cases, composite rocket motor components, and rocket motor assembly operation.
  • Originate, prepare, and maintain detailed planning (Standard Operating Procedures) for the manufacture of rocket warhead components.
  • Perform hands-on pilot operations for manufacture of new inert or energetic components, and development program components and assemblies.
  • Accurately report problems, solutions, and results in concise written and oral communications.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related major
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Software applications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • At least 1 year of experience working independently to manage projects, full cycle
