About the role
- Plan, document, coordinate, and execute, environmental exposure tests on high-technology, high-value hardware produced for the defense industry.
- Support the documentation and investigation of anomalies and failures.
- Advise new programs on their qualification test planning.
- This position requires occasional weekends, off-shift, and overtime work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- Experience with environmental testing. (Vibration, Thermal, Thermal Vacuum)
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and processes and work with the engineering leadership team to resolve issues.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- People management/leadership skills.
- Experience with avionics or space hardware test.
- Experience performing environmental testing per MIL-STD-810.
- Experience with software development (MATLAB, VBA, Python, etc.).
