About the role
- Develop, implement, and maintain high-fidelity space mission models and simulations supporting operational planning, performance analysis, and mission assurance activities.
- Perform orbital mechanics modeling including orbit propagation, maneuver analysis, rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO), conjunction assessment, and/or covariance analysis.
- Develop and execute threat-informed simulation scenarios incorporating adversary capabilities, red vs blue modeling, and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) considerations.
- Present technical findings, risk assessments, and analytical insights to program leadership and/or customer stakeholders.
- Support exercise planning, wargaming activities, and mission rehearsal simulations as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly required.
- 2 years of experience demonstrating the ability to translate operational requirements into executable simulation architectures.
- 2 years experience with modeling tools such as STK, ODTK, GMAT, FreeFlyer, or Python-based analytical environments.
