About the role

  • Support high-visibility national security space programs
  • Develop and execute high-fidelity space mission simulations to evaluate spacecraft performance, mission resilience, and operational effectiveness
  • Apply astrodynamics, analytical modeling, and mission-focused simulation techniques
  • Develop, implement and maintain high-fidelity space mission models and simulations
  • Perform orbital mechanics modeling including orbit propagation, maneuver analysis, rendezvous operations, conjunction assessment, and covariance analysis
  • Develop and execute threat-informed simulation scenarios incorporating adversary capabilities and Space Domain Awareness considerations
  • Present technical findings, risk assessments, and analytical insights to program leadership and/or customer stakeholders
  • Support exercise planning, wargaming activities, and mission rehearsal simulations as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly required
  • 2 years of experience demonstrating the ability to translate operational requirements into executable simulation architectures
  • 2 years experience with modeling tools such as STK, ODTK, GMAT, FreeFlyer, or Python-based analytical environments.
