About the role
- Responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production.
- Lead engineers in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations.
- Review and approve the design of detail parts and assemblies.
- Work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on various aircraft platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior Mechanical Design Engineering experience within the Aerospace industry.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior Mechanical Design Engineering experience within the Aerospace industry.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 2 years CAD skills (NX/Unigraphics preferred, ProE, Catia).
- Must be a US Citizen.
