About the role
- Setup and execute environmental exposure tests according to documented procedures on high-technology, high-value hardware produced for the defense industry
- Monitor ongoing test events and ensure test activities are operating within established limits
- Identify anomalies, stabilize test events, and support the documentation and investigation of anomalies and failures
- This position may require overtime work depending on critical milestones
- Candidate will learn to operate climatic chambers and electrodynamic shakers for testing products
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- Professional experience working with people in either a customer service role or a role that directly interacts and communicates with others
- Soft skills (Proficient in MS Office, strong ability to communicate)
- Experience operating thermal chambers, vibration shakers, or thermal-vacuum systems to evaluate product performance
- Experience conducting MIL-STD-810 testing
- Active Security Clearance is a plus
