About the role
- Performs a wide range of CAD design assignments
- Assures design documentation complies with the program requirements, organization’s processes and industry standards
- Prepares accurate drawings and schematics
- Create and edit accurate and complete piece part/assembly designs and associated drawings utilizing Creo MCAD application
- Provide CAD support throughout the product development process
- Create and edit parts lists and Bill of Materials utilizing Agile PDM
- Generate and/or modify product models, drawings and documentation
- Support the control of mechanical digital data files and drawings
- Prepare and incorporate engineering change orders
- Input data and assure hardware structures are accurate in a Product Data Management tool
- Support resolution of problems/issues in CAD design/drawings
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- Experience with Creo revision 4 or higher
- Familiarity with ASME Y100 Standards
- Experience with ASME Y14.5 GD&T
- Active TS/SCI clearance with favorable Polygraph
- Familiarity with Agile PDM
- Familiarity with machining processes and operations
- GDT Professional Senior certification
