About the role
- Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for electronic assemblies
- Own assigned manufacturing processes
- Design and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations and IPC guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturability
- Support tooling design, qualification, and safe implementation into production
- Monitor process performance using data-driven methods and implement corrective actions as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc. preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, or similar)
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with manufacturing processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with IPC standards; certification preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing and structured process improvement
- Proficiency with ERP and PLM systems for managing parts and documentation
- Working knowledge of Design tools and data analysis techniques
