About the role
- Lead and manage the Quality Engineering team to ensure the highest level of product quality and compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and control systems in accordance with L3Harris Command Media, AS9100 and AS9102 standards
- Oversee and manage Root Cause and Corrective Action processes to resolve product and process non-conformances
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the production environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to integrate quality processes and resolve any quality issues
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding quality issues and initiatives
- Manage the quality audit process and ensure readiness for customer and certification audits
- Lead initiatives to enhance product reliability and safety
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Demonstrated experience engaging with DCMA, DoD customers, and major aerospace primes
- Strong understanding of AS9100 and AS9102 standards
- Extensive experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in quality management tools and software
