About the role
- Performing and coordinating propulsion program tasks for the RAPTOR Program.
- Implementing design and analysis tasks and overseeing special studies and experiments.
- Collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines, operations, quality, and supply chain functions.
- Assisting in rapid development of specifications, test plans, and statements of work.
- Supporting engineering teams on underwater propulsion development and production tasks.
- Monitoring technical progress and interfacing with program management and AR customers.
- Providing technical consultation for proposal development and conceiving test plans.
- Facilitating testing and post-test analysis to ensure hardware objectives are met.
- Providing technical evaluations on test failures and directing problem investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior project engineering experience.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior project engineering experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior project engineering experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Prior design, test, and manufacturing experience of Torpedo programs is a plus.
- Experience with Model-based systems engineering.
- Strong supplier/vendor management experience.
- Experience performing development testing and hardware verification tests.
