About the role
- Provide leadership and direction to Manufacturing Engineers on their assigned programs
- Improve overall manufacturing efficiencies and throughput via process development and scheduling
- Design, install and debug tooling and capital equipment
- Encourage the use of lean/six sigma techniques to smooth production flow
- Hire, develop, and retain manufacturing engineers
- Develop and implement manufacturing engineering plans and schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent training and education in lean manufacturing
- Strong knowledge and skills within manufacturing
- Practical knowledge in leading and managing execution of processes and projects
