About the role

  • Designing production tooling such as jigs, fixtures, gages, and molds
  • Applying design and structural analysis principles using CAD/CAM software
  • Conducting research and preparing technical data packages
  • Utilizing engineering metrology equipment and implementing Additive Manufacturing techniques
  • Coordinating design activities to meet budget and schedule
  • Addressing design constraints and solving engineering challenges
  • Producing tool design drawings and technical data packages
  • Managing projects with general supervision
  • Excellent communication skills for technical documents interpretation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years of aircraft tool design experience
  • Graduate Degree with two (2) years of aircraft tool design experience
  • In Lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of aircraft tool design experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience with Technical Data Package (TPD) Development
  • Model Based Definition (MBD)
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
