Responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing plans and processes.
Collaborate with teammates and suppliers to address and resolve issues.
Drive continuous improvements and uphold quality standards.
Take ownership of the manufacturing process from start to finish.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and requirements.
Develop work instructions that technicians can easily follow.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with manufacturing and assembly of space hardware.
Experience working within ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP.
Experience working within PLM software to manage parts, assemblies and documentation.
Proficiency in machining, GD&T and assembly processes.
Experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing processes.
