About the role
- Participate in engineering analysis/evaluation efforts related to complex digital hardware systems
- Document design approaches and establish design verification and validation procedures
- Develop plans to manufacture and test sensor systems and major sub-assemblies
- Work as part of a product development team in areas like algorithm modeling, simulation, and coding using System Verilog or VHDL
- Participate in FPGA development, engineering analysis, and evaluation efforts in digital communications or signal processing
- Document and follow design verification and validation procedures
- Perform design/test documentation including specifications, design documents, and test plans/procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years of experience utilizing Xilinx or Intel FPGA development tool suites
- Graduate degree with four (4) years of experience utilizing Xilinx or Intel FPGA development tool suites
- In Lieu of a degree, a minimum of ten (10) years of experience utilizing Xilinx or Intel FPGA development tool suites
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance preferred
- Digital signal processing (DSP) knowledge
- Mentor Graphics Questa Sim/Modelsim/QuestaOne simulation tool experience
