About the role
- Participates in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations.
- Applies basic engineering design and/or analytical theory with understanding of structural analysis for application to integrated system design.
- Responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost.
- Accomplishes designs using world-class, three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and works with senior-level design engineers.
- Works on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on various aircraft platforms.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
