About the role
- Serve as a Customs Compliance Official for ISR Sector operations.
- Coordinate with designated customs broker to facilitate proper filing of customs entries.
- Prepare import shipment documentation and instructions in accordance with federal regulations.
- Manage carnets and other shipment documents including recordkeeping.
- Monitor import activities and ensure timely resolution of any issues or delays.
- Support cross-border logistics with international and US customer deliveries.
- Support external or internal audits of operations.
- Function as POC for inquiries from US governmental agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in U.S. import/export compliance with emphasis in global supply chain logistics/traffic and compliance documentation.
- Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
- Previous experience with OCR EASE Application.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and reasoning skills.
- Proficient in the use of PC, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
