About the role
- Review/update Standard Operating Procedures related to composite structure manufacturing
- Evaluate and implement tractable solutions to technical problems involving tape wrapped composite pressure vessel
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and applicable safety requirements for handling composite material
- Prepare comprehensive analyses, procedures, reports, and presentations for customer reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 9 years of prior Manufacturing Engineering composite processing experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior Manufacturing Engineering composite processing experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior Manufacturing Engineering composite processing experience
- Preferred Degree in material science, composites, or related science
- Tape wrap experience is preferred
- Technical experience in composite manufacturing environment is preferred
- Tooling or component design using various CAD software packages
- 3D printing techniques and experience
- Experience with composite molding techniques, statistical analysis, data acquisition is a plus.
