About the role

  • Work under general oversight to develop time-phased integrated budgets and schedules
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of financial performance of programs
  • Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management and financial support
  • Develop quarterly EACs; analyze/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data
  • Educate and lead financial analysts with organization of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Analyze costs and personnel ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct end objective
  • Analyze workforce planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Generate program financial artifacts such as EV reports, graphs, and analysis
  • Develop and present briefing of program financial status to customer
  • Communicate changes to practices and processes
  • Suggest and implement new process improvement initiatives
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant finance experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related finance experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior finance experience
  • 4+ years experience using Excel as a daily tool
  • 2+ years experience with financial analysis, forecasting and reporting to include variance explanations
  • 2+ years experience with budgeting and earned value reporting
