About the role
- Develop and implement quality processes and procedures
- Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed
- Determine root cause for products or services that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action
- Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating rejected material and/or workmanship and determine proper dispositions
- Analyze quality performance and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas
- Perform internal ISO9001 audits
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant Quality engineering experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related Quality engineering experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related Quality engineering experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN
- Experience with ISO9001, including internal auditing
